Brick tunnel kiln

Tunnel kiln system:
The technology choose flat celling tunnel kiln. The tunnel kiln has complete system of
smoke discharging, cooling, heat releasing, pressure balancing under the kiln car, running and
test system. Baking curve inside of the kiln will be more reasonable through the adjustment of those system.

There are entrance and exit doors at both ends of the tunnel kiln. At the entrance side, there is a preparatory room, and a cut-off door between the preparatory room and the kiln joint zone. Thus it effectively avoids entering the cold air and ensures the baking system of the kiln.


Tunnel kiln structure:

1. Red brick is laid for the pre-heating zone and cooling zone where the temperature is below 200°C. The rest part, baking zone and the innermost wall of insulating zone are adopting clay refractory brick. The clay insulting bricks will be used for laying the insulting area. Meanwhile, refractory fabric felt (for the relative part of temperature curve above 600 Celsius) or rock wool felt will be used for stuffing and red bricks will be laid on the external wall.
2. Kiln roof structure:
a. One kiln car space remained in low temperature zone on both sides, which adopt cast-in concrete top slab. For other position, clay material plate, hanger plate through davit hang under H type steel beam by cast product. Both sides wall body support the main beam’s weight.
b. High aluminum cotton ,refractory fibro felt, rock wool felt, rock wool board are put on the refractory hander plate, which compose complex insulation layer.
c. The crack between the top plates will be impacted by high aluminum fiber.
d. High temperature binder is being filled up to the gap between the boards, and is being painted on the upside of the insulating layer, thus to ensure the material’s insensitivity and structure’s durability.

Semi Automatic Clay brick factory with small dryer and hoffman kiln


        Adopt small tunnel dryer&hoffman kiln clay brick factory

1. Raw material & fuel preparation and handling 
1)Send clay raw material to box feeder with loader. Send the clay raw material to double-roll crusher for preliminary crushing . 
2)Preliminary crushed material is conveyed to twin-shaft mixing machine for adding water and agitating through belt conveyor.
3)After mixing of the first working procedure, the raw material is again sent to intense agitation extruder and high speed fine pulverizing double roll grinder for supplement water and agitating the raw material.
2. Molding
1)The molding water content rate should be controlled within 16%-18%.
2)The vacuum pump will take out the air that entered into the extruding machine together with pug. The vacuum extruder will extrude the pug from machine mouth and then, carry out slitting & parting according to the required dimension.
3. Drying
1)When the green bricks cut by cutter and arranged into groups, they are set by manual onto the dryer cart.
2) The drying chamber work system has heating system, regulating system and moisture excluding system. The drying quality is controlled by regulating system.
4. Burning
1)After drying , the dried bricks are sent onto hoffman kiln by the dried brick cart, workers stack the bricks into the hoffman kiln for burning.
2)The properly burned bricks are sent onto the Finished brick cart by workers.

Clay brick making process

Following is the description of clay brick making process

1.taking clay with box feeder ,belt conveyor  carry clay to roller crusher to crush under 5 mm.

2.crushing clay under 5 mm, belt conveyor carry clay to double shaft mixer to mix clay.and then use fineness roller crusher to crush clay under 3 mm.

3.after fineness roller crusher,the clay is under 3 mm. belt conveyor  carry clay to extrusion mixer to mix again,which to enhance the plasticity to make good brick.and then extruding wet column brick with High pressure extruder brick machine

4.after extruding wet column brick,cutting column brick under 1.0-1.5 m,use the automatic brick cutter to cut piece brick.with different capacity.

5.after cutting bricks,manual stacking wet bricks on to dryer car, The dryer cart is sent to the inlet of drying chamber by ferry cart.
6. Dry the unfired brick in small tunnel dryer and the heat source comes from the residual heat of hoffman kiln.
7. After drying in small tunnel drying chamber, the unfired bricks are sent onto hoffman kiln by the tractor with Three wheel carts.
8. workers manual stacking dried bricks into the hoffman kiln
9.firing 24-30 hours,the hoffman kiln work circulate ,the fire cycle is one week.getting finished bricks every day due to your capacity. after firing well,manual unloading finished bricks on to the finished bricks cart .
